Little is much when Christ is in it...

My people una happy new months oO, good to see una for this month of march, February was fun and challenging right ? but in all we give God the glory. ( As if i can speak pigin #Smiles)

My dear it's no news that the economy is so dramatic this days and every product is experiencing a price hike even to the common food commodities say garri for example, that one come tire me pass, wetin you wan make i talk give you for the so called pure water, (wish they 're all pure as thought).

But anyways as time goes by and the future remains assured by faith let's move with the time, it's a thing to pray God to make a way and another thing to stand up and find the way God has made.
Stand up, move out of your comfort zone if you still are, better opportunities awaits you, you never know until you try, you may not successful even in your 6th trial but never give up on yourself and your believe in God remember
Hebrew 11:6 (King James Bible) says;
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

And if you have something doing already well "congrat"! praise God for you, remember "one" is better than "zero" no matter how small it is now,  it will grow big someday, take a lesson from a bean seed, when planted germinates and with dedication and hard work put in caring for it, it grows and bears so much seeds, so its business, it may not be easy at the beginning but with much dedication and hard work put in it and above all committing it to God, the business will grow even big,

Zech 4:10 (New Living Translation) says  Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand." (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the LORD that search all around the world.)

So be encouraged and never GIVE UP for little is MUCH when Christ is in it.
Make i Wish Una success as we enter this new month  oO. God bless Ur waka wella Amen oO .

Are You Discouraged? ( Copied )

Dr Ben Carson wrote;

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.

Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger. "God, how could you do this to me!" he cried.

Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. "How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers. "We saw your smoke signal," they replied.

It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad. But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives even in the midst of pain and suffering. Remember, next time your little hut is burning to the ground -- it just may be a smoke signal that summons the intervention of God.

TRUST ISSUES...MY TESTIMONY VOL.1

Happy new month to you! Its quiet exciting to know that the Lord is doing a new thing in your life this year, for me the Lord has been so faithful and it's been so amazing so far.
This morning as i was on my devotion i got this sweet inspiration and of course wants you to share in it.

You see, sometimes our prayers are not answered because we've got a lot of "trust issues" i.e. not trusting God in totality in everything and anything. And we've got to work on ourselves to eliminate this "character threat" for our prayers to be answered!

Recall trust is "firm believe in the reliability, ability, or strength of someone or confidence place in someone, making that person the nominal owner of our property and in this case our life"

A lot of us are scared to lose "what we think we've got" for what we are praying to have, Solomon tells us;

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6  NIV

In other words we should be a firm believer in the reliability, truth, ability and strength of God, more so have confidence in HIM making him the owner of our life! i.e BELIEVING GOD IN EVERYTHING and ANYTHING.
Remember most times if not all the times you need to lose sight of where you are coming from to get to where you are going to trusting God in the process.

Come to think of this, if you trust the fact that your well fueled car will take you to your destination without hitches on way, you need to trust God even more that whenever you ask Him anything in prayer believing it's done, He will do it for you. I bet you, if you give God a little of the trust you put on your car or any other stuff, mountains will move on your behalf, then when you give him all, you can ask the earth the stop its rotation and it will happen!

Surprised?!! Ok you remember Joshua a trustworthy servant of God, when he asked the sun to stand still, it was done right, of course by now you know the sun does not move but the earth does so literally he stopped the earth from rotating on its axis for a time! You can do even much more for it is written

" The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”  Haggai 2:9

And who is this temple that the Lord of Host is talking about ? You! You are the Temple of the most High God for it is written;

" Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?"  1Corinthains 6-19. You see, there is so much you get when you trust God in total

Jesus tells us;
" And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it" John 14:13-14

Now you have heard from the horse's mouth! What are you waiting for? what's holding you back? take a chill and look back it's not worth it! It's time to take that step "trusting God in totality" and see where HE takes you! the result might not be swift but then trust Him anyway the results will sure come because

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us" 1 John 5:14 NIV  Not only does he hear he answers us!

So my Dear whenever you decide don't forget to "Leave the driver's sit when you ask God to take over" there can't be two drivers on the same sit at a time.
Just TRUST HIM IN EVERYTHING and ANYTHING.

Am a Testimony of this, and will be glad sharing in your testimony too till then, i pray that "my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" Amen. Philippians 4:19  NIV.
Wishing you a blissful month!

MY FITNESS PLAN "A"

Good morning to you,
How was your weekends? Mine was so occupied but and good. These days, so much has been talked about on weight loss techniques, how to hit the gym for fitness and so on etc, well those sounds good in fact i like been fit, though i have been off gym recently but i have come up with ways we can achieve fitness not only physically but spiritually too.
I call it, "My Fitness Plan A". it's simple you don't need the gym and you are your instructor! Well here are ways you can achieve wellness and fitness spiritually and physically;

1. Begin your day with prayer.
Waking up every day healthy or even sick is a miracle, remember not everybody that slept woke this morning, so be thankful to the Almighty God for the privilege to be alive.

2. Drink lots of clean water daily.
Researchers have shown the benefits of drinking lots of clean water, it helps your body in ways you can't even imagine, example, it helps in  digestion and rehydration etc, so start your day with a clean glass of water.

3. Eat lots of fruits and green vegetables.
Make use of the local fruits and vegetable around you, it's cheap and affordable, be creative find other ways you can still prepare the same fruits and vegetable in your meals and it looks appetizing e.g. Making smoothies, fruit salads etc.

4. Train every day.
To achieve your goal you must be consistent in your plan no matter how busy you are don't forget to your daily Bible study, it makes you fit spiritually and of course your physical exercise, 5 sit ups or push ups it's just enough daily or more so and evening walk its rejuvenating try it!

5.  Practice discipline in little things.
It's easy to overlook things that are insignificant to us but the news it's THOSE THINGS MATTER'S! My Principal at Secondary those days do preach about little sins huge results, pay strict attention to little things they really count. Practice saying "NO" to certain habits you've acquired or some friendship invitations in that way you easily can control your excesses.

6. Be Consistent.
Practice they say makes perfect,it's easy to backslide over time when you choose to be unaware or yield to  pressures  (yes most times the life we live is our choice) so to be strong and true to the positive spiritual and social values you have acquired you need to be consistent on your decisions, watch it!

7.  Practice No Exceptions.
In this programme plan, let nobody make you change your stands on your positive spiritual and Social values, your friends or even family, NO BODY!! It may be hard in the beginning but later people will see reason to adjust to your standard of living that way, you have started training others unconsciously so long as your course or values are "just"

8. Practice Praise.
A time will come when its seems prayers are not answered, its well, so long as your faith is strong you will get your answers in due time. While you are still waiting your answers or when you feel discouraged burst into praise! give God a treat with your voice and watch him nod to harmonies your voice brings. Well, i will be waiting over here to share in your "What happened next Testimonies"

Be determined ! Be courageous! Be Persistent! Be resilient ! see you at the other side!

What's Your Vision for This Year?

Ann Mbah wrote...

Where there is no vision, the people perish.' Proverbs 29:18 KJV
What are you planning to do with this New Year? What you set your heart on will determine how you spend your time and energy. And it takes as much effort to live an unfulfilled life as a richly rewarding one. Some scientists have recently estimated that the human brain has between 10 and 100 terabytes of capacity, which means we all have lots of room for growth. One of the most rewarding things you can do this year is work to develop your mind. ‘Where there is no vision [sense of direction], the people perish.’

Dissatisfaction doesn’t come from the absence of things, but the absence of direction. Too many of us merely exist because we’ve settled for less than God intended. The quality of your life will be determined by your vision and the effort you’re willing to put into fulfilling it. So stop and make a written list of the areas where you’d like to grow this year, then tackle the three or four most important ones. Don’t get discouraged if the one you’re working on doesn’t want to co-operate; nothing great is ever created suddenly.

Paul said of his faith, ‘ I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. ’ (Philippians 3:14 ESV) It’s a process; you have to keep plugging away. Some days it’ll feel like two steps forward and three steps backward. But don’t give up. It’s better to die for something than to live for nothing! And unless you try something beyond what you’ve already mastered, you won’t grow.
So what are you waiting for? Life? It’s waiting for you—so get going!

SoulFood: 2 Th 1-3, Luke 1:1-10, Ps 90, Prov 1:1-7

Have a very splendid year!

Ann Mbah is a woman God has been using to reach out to people bringing hope, motivation and encouragements to their lives. She is a Nurse by profession, happily married and blessed with two handsome boys, she is our guest writer this week.
Ann, God bless you and family for your time. Amen.

5 MOUTH SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS YOU SHOULD NEVER IGNORE

Sometimes our mouths are sending out an S.O.S. while the next dentist appointment is still six months away. How do you know what can’t be ignored? Here are five symptoms that need to be checked out by a dental professional

A sore that isn’t healing

If you notice a mouth sore, a lump or a red or pale patch of skin on your tongue, cheek or gum, keep an eye on it for a couple of weeks. If it doesn’t go away, see your dentist ASAP. An earlier diagnosis of oral cancer means a much better chance of recovery. That’s why dental professionals should do a cancer screening at your regular visits, even if you haven’t noticed any symptoms. And you can check yourself at home once a month. Ask your dental care providers how to do a self-exam. “It’s not difficult to do,” says Mandy Hayre, Chair of Vancouver Island University’s Dental Hygiene Diploma Program. “It just takes a mirror and good lighting.”

Pain and swelling

If you have unexplained pain or puffiness in your mouth that persists for a couple of days, bite the bullet and call your dentist. It could be a sign of infection, decay, gum disease or a cracked tooth. Left untreated, these problems can worsen and even lead to tooth loss. Don’t delay, especially if the symptoms are disturbing your sleep. “You absolutely have to go to your dentist,” says Hayre.

A bad smell or taste in your mouth

Foul-smelling breath could be a consequence of that sliced onion you had on your lunch salad. Or it could mean you’re not looking after your teeth and gums properly, and there’s a build-up of bacteria. But sometimes bad breath signals other health problems like gum disease, sinusitis, throat or lung infections, tooth decay or an abscess. A bad taste in the mouth can also be a sign of an oral infection.

You may not realize your mouth smells rank. So if your spouse or partner comments on your bad breath, consider it a courtesy – and call your dentist’s office.

Loose tooth

Of course, a wiggly tooth is perfectly natural when you’re six years old. But when you’re forty-six, you need to see a dentist about it. “The number-one cause of loose teeth is gum disease,” says Hayre. And since gum or periodontal disease can cause tooth loss, it’s important to get your oral health back on track.

Occasionally, a loose tooth can be a sign of oral cancer. An accidental impact to your mouth can also loosen a tooth or two. Either way, you shouldn’t ignore a tooth that’s less than solid, because that’s not normal for adults.

Wisdom tooth symptoms

Is your third set of molars, also known as your wisdom teeth, giving you grief? If there isn’t enough space for them at the back of the mouth, they can become impacted. It’s a common problem that can have no symptoms at all. But sometimes impacted teeth cause tenderness, swelling and other symptoms.

Impacted or partially erupted teeth can attract a buildup of plaque and debris, and they may even cause a shift in the alignment of your other teeth. If you’re noticing soreness or swelling near your back molars, it’s important to have them checked. The earlier these troublesome teeth are removed, the smoother the recovery process.

If your mouth is generally feeling fine, your dentist will recommend a regular appointment schedule, such as every six months. But when it comes to certain signs and symptoms, you shouldn’t wait. Remember, most oral health problems have a better outcome when they’re, well, nipped in the bud.

5 POSITIVE WORDS TO LIVE BY THIS WEEK

What a way to start a week! Stephanie shared the following tips and i say why not! Lets strike out the negativity and start positive while leaving by these words. Have fun...

Love: Love is truly the greatest gift of all. Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses. When love is your guiding light, you can break through barriers to be of loving service to the world.

Positivity: The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts. Think positive in every situation and surround yourself with optimistic people who would not draw you back. Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results. Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.

Truth: Of all the traits the happiest people share in common, one outshines them all. In fact, without it, genuine happiness can’t exist. That trait is truthfulness. \Tell yourself the truth always and be truthful to others. Don’t be dishonest or put up with dishonest people.

Persistence:  Any great accomplishment that has ever been achieved has been brought about and made possible by an all important trait called persistence. The ability to hold on or to get back up after we have been knocked down is essential for us to achieve any real success, because there will be failures along the way and it’s how we deal with these failures that will determine the outcome of any endeavor that we undertake.

Appreciation: Instead of thinking about what you’re missing, think about what you have that everyone else is missing. When you express your approval or gratitude for something someone has done to you, you will not only enhance their lives, but you will enrich yours as well.  You will feel more fulfilled because you have done something to make someone else’s life better.

Stay positive and enjoy your week!

PLEASING EVERYBODY?? SORRY, START A REAL LIFE, THIS TIPS MIGHT BE HELPFUL...

Ever since i learnt this, my life is has  changed for the better so why don't you try it out if you are still struggling with pleasing everybody.
Life is short, so why waste it living like you have got eternity to live? It’s important as humans we live knowing we have this one chance to make the best out of life because the moment death calls, its all over.

I found these amazing tips I would love to share with you about getting the best out of life. Check them out below

1. PROCRASTINATION: why push till tomorrow what you can do today? You have got to understand someday is not a day of the week so you should do it today and don’t procrastinate. Until you value yourself, you will not value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.

2. NEVER DOUBT YOURSELF: I just don’t get why you should doubt yourself, that’s something you should never do. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.

3. PEOPLE PLEASING: You need to stop trying to live your life pleasing others. If you are busy pleasing everyone, you are not being true to yourself. You have to realize in trying to please all, you would end up pleasing no one.

4. NEGATIVE THINKING: Negative thoughts would help you achieve big things. Believing in negative thoughts is the single greatest obstruction to success so if you want to be successful, you should think positive.

5. FEAR OF SUCCESS: ironically for many people, the fear of success is much bigger than the fear of failure. Even though success could be more frightening than failure sometimes, but you have to overcome that fear. Sometimes these fears come up due to living up to the parental expectations, the slot that you were put in, and your place in the family constellation.

6. FEAR OF FAILURE: most people live life with that fear that they might never “make it” doing what they are passionate about and that they would never succeed if they try something new. Life is just too short to let it make big decisions for you. You have to realize it is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.

7. NEGATIVE SELF TALK: When you talk negatively about yourself, you put a limit to what you can achieve in life and the worst thing one can do to oneself is talk negatively about yourself.

8. CRITICIZING OTHERS: some people would never see something good in what others do or what they do themselves and that’s so wrong. If we had no faults we should not take so much pleasure in noting those of others.

Like I said earlier, why live life like we have nothing to lose? Why live life without a purpose? Give your life a meaning today with these amazing tips.

8 Benefit Of A Good Night Sleep

There are so many benefits a good sleep at night can give to us—not just our bodies but our minds as well.
People seem to take their sleep at night lightly; if you are one of those then you just have to read this.

Benefits of a good night sleep:

1. YOU WOULD CONCENTRATE BETTER
The way you wake up from sleep go a long way in affecting your concentration level all day; if you wake up at the back of a good night sleep then you would have a swell day at work or school, but if you wake on the wrong side of the bed like they say then your concentration level would be affected all day. A survey even found that a bad night sleep would leave you struggling all day.

2. LESS LIKELY TO SUFFER DEPRESSION
Depression is a mood killer, and the way you sleep can either make depression set in or chase it far away. Lack of proper sleep can cause tiredness, frustration and unnecessary feeling of bitterness, anger and irritation. A survey found that nearly two thirds of people blame their lack of sleep anytime they feel irritable.

3. BETTER IMMUNE SYSTEM
A better immune system means you are less likely to fall ill. A lack of sleep can suppress your immune system, which would make you vulnerable to all manners of infections.

4. BETTER SEX LIFE
People usually complain of how poor their sex life is; how can you have a good sex life when you can’t have a proper night sleep? Research upon research has proven that a lack of proper sleep would affect your sex life.

5. YOUR BRAIN WOULD BECOME SHARPER
Sleep even goes a long way in affecting our brain. During deep sleep, the brain goes through our impressions of the day in a process vital to memory formation. Also, your mind which is surprisingly busy while you sleep can practise new skills learned during the day. So, for better memory, you need a better sleep.

6. A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP WOULD MAKE YOU HAPPIER
A poor sleep would leave you receptive to negative emotions while a good night sleep would leave you feeling upbeat and energetic.

7. ENHANCES CREATIVITY
In addition to making your brain sharper as regards memory storage, a good night sleep would also leave you in a more creative state. Your brain appears to reorganize and restructure those memories while you sleep, and this can in turn lead to creativity.

8. A HEALTHIER HEART
Who doesn’t need a healthy heart? On the long run good night sleep can have healthy benefits on the heart compared to poor sleep. Research has discovered that that people who regularly get less than six hours sleep a night could be at greater risk of heart attack or stroke.

Remember the saying ‘early to bed, early to rise’. Scientists say 7-8 hours of sleep is the most appropriate, and over-sleeping is just as bad as not sleeping well.

Hope you all would aim for a better sleep tonight?

9 Bitter truths about relationships.

Hey there! i found this interested share with me please..
Relationships have its ups and downs, but one good thing about anything that has its ups and downs is that you come off it a better and stronger person; it can be compared to a staircase; climbing stairs of a giant building might be complicated and difficult and even tiring but it’s one of the best forms of exercises for the legs.

When you enter a relationship, there are certain truths about relationships that you should be prepared for, and that’s what this article is all about.

9 Bitter truth abouth relationships

1. NOT EVERY RELATIONSHIP WOULD LEAD TO MARRIAGE

You can’t marry everybody you date and the possibility of marrying the first person that you date is always very slim and this is one bitter truth about relationships. Many enter some relationships with the hope that it might lead to marriage but it hardly ever does. Some relationships are meant to shape you for the real deal but not every person you meet is the real deal.

2. NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS I LOVE YOU MEANS IT

‘I love you’ are the three most bastardised words you might ever hear; not everyone would love you; some people might say they love you but they don’t and just after a few days or weeks of dating they get bored of the whole thing and would want to quit. Sometimes lust could be judged to be love and you should be ready for that just in case it happens.

3. NOT ALL RELATIONSHIPS WOULD HAVE A HAPPY ENDING

Life is no Cinderella story,  sometimes it could end sadly like Titanic and sometimes it wouldn’t; relationships are unpredictable and the fact that it started out well doesn’t mean it would always end well; sometimes the gallops along the way could be unbearable.

5. YOU CAN’T BE PERFECT FOR EVERYONE

You can’t be compatible with everyone; some of your relationships could be like a tug of war, some would have a lot of arguments and misunderstanding and in some you would be that perfect person. The fact that your relationship partner might actually love you or you love that person doesn’t mean you would be perfect for each other; sometimes, it wouldn’t just pan out well.

6. HEARTBREAKS ARE A LIKELY SCENARIO

The fact that all relationship you enter wouldn’t work out well means that heartbreaks isn’t all that inevitable. Humans are imperfect and we all make mistakes but sometimes those mistakes could prove costly and it might just lead to a heart breaking experience.

7. RELATIONSHIPS AREN’T ALL A BED OF ROSES

People make that mistake of entering a relationship and feel it would just work out well so easy. Relationship takes work, what you give is what you would get; if you put in little efforts you would get same. Don’t expect a relationship to work on its own; you need to mould it, you need to shape it.

8. A GOOD LOOKING PARTNER DOESN’T GUARANTEE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP

People enter relationships with someone just because of beauty and that’s a dangerous mistake. Beauty is deceptive; the love that beauty brings is fleeting, if you base your relationship only on this then you have successfully sealed a relationship that might be on the verge of ending before it starts.

9. MONEY CAN’T REALLY BUY LOVE

Money can buy a whole lot of things but true love isn’t really one of those. It can only fetch you temporary love but true love is a genuine feeling from the heart and it doesn’t need money to make it happen. Any love bought with money might fade away especially when there is no money.

These nine truths are bitter but they are true as far as relationships are concerned.

PRAY FOR CHRISTIAN FAITHFUL'S AT IRAQ,SYRIA, NIGERIA ETC, ISIS BEHEADING CHRISTIANS AT IRAQ

Friends I was in tears this evening as I was reading this post by Linda Ikeji, I was so angry that I asked God “and You are there watching this and did nothing??” but then who am I to ask HIM a question? Who am I to ask him “why”?

Though even as i write this to you am fuming with anger but all I could only say is “May Your name be glorified” Yes may His name be glorified!! 1 Corinthians 10:31 says “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God”.

Even in my grief, even as I look at the fears in the eye of those kids, the pains in the face of those men, even as I see death in the eyes of those women’s as their throats are being slit I say may your name be glorified but then,

How long oh Lord!! How long are we going to be leaving like this? In sorrow, in fears, not knowing what will happen next?? How long are we going to be slaughtered like chickens?
We need your strength, courage we need your DIVINE intervention least some Faithful’s fall…

As you look at these pictures below, say some prayers for brethren in Iraq, in Syria, in Nigeria etc who has lost their lives in the event of these atrocities by this Islamic terrorist.

For courage to those who will survive it and also for those who will still lose their lives, yes! those who will  lose their lives to them in future, that God may grant them the strength not to succumb to their faith, that they be faithful to the last and in death that they rest in the bosom of the most High till that day “the corruptible shall be made incorruptible” in Jesus name.

Islamist Militant group ISIS has been killing non-Muslims in many cities in Iraq and Syria in their effort to eradicate the Christian faith in the countries...and they are not sparing children. There have been several executions of believers, including crucifixions and the beheadings of children.

The children's heads are being erected on poles in a city park according to an eyewitness who spoke with CNN.
"There is a park in Mosul where they actually beheaded children and put their heads on a stick and have them in the park. The world hasn't seen this kind of atrocity in generations"  a prominent Chaldean-American businessman Mark Arabo told CNN

See some of the horrific photos + images of extreme brutality by ISIS on their prisoners. Members of the Sunni Shaitat tribe are taken from their homes rounded up and marched to their deaths. ISIS shared some these horrific images online. Continue...
